SHIPPENSBURG Harold G. Adams, 76, of 8 Forestry Road died Saturday in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was retired from the ammunitions department at Letterkenny Army Depot; was an Army veteran of World War II; and was a member of the American Legion post 223 in Shippensburg, VFW Post 6070 in Newville, Marine Corps League Post 2151 in Chambersburg, Amvets Post 224 in Chambersburg and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1299, Carlisle.
Surviving are his wife, Grace B. Varner Adams; and two sisters, Cora Jane Adams and Stella M. Clendening, both of Shippensburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg. Burial with military honors will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Twp.
