SHIPPENSBURG -- Albert R. Adams, 72, Prospect Ave., died unexpectedly Wednesday evening at 8:45 in Chambersburg Hospital. He was admitted there earlier in the evening after having suffered a heart attack.
Mr. Adams was born March 24, 1898, in Perry County, son of the late Elmer G and Lillian Lackey Adams. He was a member of Messiah United Methodist Church the Men's Bible Class.
Surviving are two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. B. Margaret Kemberling of Everett, Mrs. Marie Harro of Marysville, Eugene Adams of Albany, GA; William, Haverford and Fred of Marysville.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the J. William Barbour Funeral Home, conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Theodore C. Yohe. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
