He was a 1967 graduate of Oolitic High School and was retired from General Motors where he worked as a die caster. Bill was a member of the U.A.W. Local 440, the VFW and a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in Vietnam.
Survivors include his daughter, Audrey Mason and husband Kris of Bedford; two sisters, Barbara Ritchey and husband Roy of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Nancy Kennedy of Billings, Montana; two brothers, Larry Lee and wife Anita of Oolitic, and Roger Lee and wife Kathy of Bedford; and two granddaughters, Isabel and Madalyn Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, and stepfather, Olan Lee.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Roger Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memorial Gardens where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Gillen Post #33. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28th and 9:00 am to the time of service on Wednesday, February 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
