Born in Phenix City, Alabama, to the late Henry Houston Wood and Margaret Leah Mulhall Wood, Mrs. Ellis was a caterer with Creekside Catering. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and loved being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Art Ellis of Byron; children, Josh and Natalie Roberts of Fort Valley, Michelle and Allen Garrison of Macon, Matt Roberts and Zach Roberts both of Byron; grandchildren, Chase, Mackenzie, Savannah, Lanier and Lance; several sisters and a brother.
