Irene M. Schroeder, 91, of Springfield died at noon Monday at Heritage manor Nursing Home.
She was born June 4, 1903, in Nilwood, the daughter of Robert Bruce and Zadie Boston Dalby. She married Robert G. Schroeder in 1923. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Howard Dalby; four sisters, Helen La Mastus, Lois Harlan, Lucille Kammerer and Ina Mae Yucus.
Mrs. Schroeder had been a resident of Springfield most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church and Triple Link Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are her son, Robert J. Schroeder of Chatham; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Georgia Whalen of Springfield and a niece.
