She sang for many years in a quartet and was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. Ruth loved playing the guitar and singing. She could be found frequently go carting around Wal-mart.
She was preceded in death by parents, Findley Collette and Lillie Smith Collette; two sons, Damon Roy Robertson and Kennie Dale Robertson; daughter, Sharon Aletta Robertson; and her husband of 59 years, Charlie L. Robertson.
Survivors include sons, Arliton ( Laurel) Robertson, Hudson, Mich., Charles W. Robertson, Speedwell, and James F. (Jennifer) Robertson, Speedwell; daughter, Alletta Jones, Middlesboro; 12 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren
