COLLEEN ABEL, born October 5, 1928 in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, November 29, 2003 in Nassau Bay, Texas at the age of 75 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling Gerald and Violetta Alton Hughes. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Deane S. Abel, Nassau Bay, Texas; son, Douglas Deane Abel and wife Kathleen, Pearland, Texas; granddaughter, Mallory Reagan Abel. In lieu of usual remembrances, family request memorials be made to the Hospice Care Team of Texas City.
