Married at Ticonderoga, N. Y. on Feb. 9, 1864, Thankful L. Moffit.

HALSEY E ABBEY

Halsey Abbey originally of Orwell Vt. lived in Malden Mass with his wife, two daughters and a stepson. He died there suddenly and was buried in the big cemetery on the Melrose side of Malden.  A large family stone with the name Abbey stands there.  Also buried there: his sister Jessie, his wife Idella, younger daughter Esther and her husband Russell Bailey (My maternal grandparents), and perhaps others.


NOTE: Forest Dale Cemetery is located near the Malden and Melrose line.
