Schoefel, a daughter of Bernhard Schoeffel of Rochester, New York on Sept. 17, 1855. They had two daughters, Louisa B., whom married C. F. Clarke, son of J. V. Clarke of the Hibernian Bank of Chicago, and Miss Elizabeth Black who never married.
