Yolande of Brittany was the daughter of Peter I of Brittany, Knt., Duke of Brittany, Earl of Richmond, by his 1st wife, Alix, daughter of Guy de Thouars and Constance of Brittany. Yolande married Hugh XI of Lusignan, son of Hugh X of Lusignan and Isabella of Angoulême in January 1235. Yolande's maritagium included the comté of Penthièvre and the seigneuries of Fère en Tardenois, Chilli, and Longjumeau.
