L. Christine Adams, 84, of Warren, IN, passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion, IN. She was born on Thursday, November 17, 1927 in Claypool, KY. She was the daughter of the late Hollis Grady Knight and the late Ina (White) Knight.
Christine had worked at the United Methodist Memorial Home, Warren, IN, now Heritage Pointe, for 17 1/2 years. Christine enjoyed making quilts and listening to music. She loved to spend time with her family and pets. She was a member of the 9th Street Wesleyan Church, Marion, IN. Many thanks from thte family to Cancer Services, New Hope Hospice and the Wesleyan Health Care Center Staff.
Survivors include daughters, Paula (Delrey Boyer) of Demotte, IN, and Patsy (Albert) Quiles of Marion, IN; son, Daryl Tosnell of Marion, IN; brother, Garry Knight of Lebanon, IN; sisters, Nadine Weaver of Scottsville, KY, and Maxine Poling of Jonesboro, IN; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hollis Grady Knight; mother, Ina (White) Knight; companion, Richard Rader; daughters, Phyllis Goodwin and Pam Huffman; brothers, Carlene Knight and Bobbie Knight; and great-grandchildren, Monte Miller, Jr., and Travis Fishbaugh.
Arrangements are being handled by Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, IN, where family and friends may gather to share and remember at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 with the Pastor Ben Gray officiating. Interment will be at Masonic Cemetery in Warren, IN.
