Shirley L. Jones, 60, Hoisington, formerly of Ellis, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington.
She was born Feb. 12, 1952, in Topeka to Alois and Pauline (Waldschmidt) Kisner.
She married William Clayton Jones on May 17, 1969, in Hoisington. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Shannon Jones and William Jones Jr., both of Hoisington; a daughter, Rebecca L. Starkey and husband, Jess, Hoisington; and five grandchildren, Seth Jones, Sawyer Starkey, Jessica Starkey, Taylor Jones and Madison Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rita Brown and Zita Davis; and an infant son, J.D. Jones.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington; burial in St. John Church Cemetery, Hoisington.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
