Ralph displayed the courage of his convictions, he was an organizer and foot-soldier of the American Labor/ Union Movement in its embryonic stages in Flint, Michigan.... In the face of violent assaults from government goon squads he and others persevered and won the right to form unions to protect the working man /woman.
