Dr. Robbins was one of the Los Angeles area’s leading opthamologists. He was a
graduate of Rochester high school and of Purdue and Indiana universities.
His grandfather was Dr. A. H. ROBBINS, prominent Rochester physician of the last
century. The latter built the brick residence at Jefferson and Seventh streets that later was the
School Door Canteen and now is to give way for a parking lot.
Surviving Dr. Alfred Robbins, is a brother, Winston ROBBINS, Lafayette.
