Charles Mason "Chuck" Adkins, age 52 of Waxahachie died Friday, December 19, 2003 at Baylor Medical Center.

He was born on March 2, 1951 in Waxahachie to Charles and Ethel Belle (Thompson) Adkins.

Chuck graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1969 then attended Lubbock Christian College before transferring to Abilene Christian University graduating with his Bachelor's Degree in 1977.

He married Susan Elayne Bell on March 21, 1976 in Waxahachie.

He was a member of the College Street Church of Christ and had worked for Vought for 25 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Susan Adkins of Waxahachie, four children; Hab Adkins and his wife Samantha of Abilene, Hannah Davis and her husband Jon of Searcy, Arkansas, Chanan Adkins and Eden Adkins both of Waxahachie, his father, Charles Adkins, sisters Nancy Adkins and Shannon Childs, his father and mother-in-laws; Robert and Wanda Bell all of Waxahachie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother in August of this year.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am, Monday, December 22, 2003 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Dean Kilmer officiating.

Interment will follow at the Forreston Cemetery.

Family visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
