Eileen was first of four children born to Earl and Evelyn McClellan. In 1942, she moved to Regina, with her family. In August 1951, she married Fred Dempsey, who was in the RCAF. She worked for Sears for 15 years. They resided in many places, retiring to Vernon. Eileen & Fred had six children: Dan (Ruth); Deb (Arch); Bob (Michelle); Rick; Rachael (Craig); Daryl, deceased (Wendy).
