Kevin M. Aach, P.E., 39, of Schnecksville, died Thursday, September 3, 2009 in his home. He was the husband of Wendy Mory Aach, Esq. The couple celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary last November 11.

Born in Philadelphia on May 12, 1970, Kevin was the son of Jerry J. and JoAnn (Capella) Aach of Sunset Beach, North Carolina. He graduated from Penn State University in 1992 with a bachelor of science degree in engineering and then earned his masters degree in engineering from Drexel University. An active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Kevin was employed as a civil bridge engineer for the Michael Baker Corp., Horsham, for the last eight years. Prior to that, he worked for Urban Engineering, Philadelphia, for seven years.

Kevin coached softball and T-Ball for the Schnecksville and Ormrod playground associations respectively. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

Survivors: Wife; parents; daughter, Cayleigh J. Aach at home; son, Anthony J. Aach at home; father and mother-in-law, Luther C. Jr. and Jackie L. (Rau) Mory, of Schnecksville; brother, Jeffrey Aach in Massachusetts; sister, Cheryl Withka in New Hampshire.

Services: memorial Mass of Christian Burial, will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, with the Rev. Kevin M. Gaulano, as celebrant. Visitation period from 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Interment will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville, is in charge of arrangements.
