Clifford Isaac Anderson, 94, was born February 24, 1918 in Angelina County, Texas. He passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in a local hospice facility.

He is survived by his three children, daughter Patsy Ridgeway and husband Tommy, son Kenneth Anderson and wife Joan and daughter Gay Nell Smith and husband Ray; and sister, Norah Behannon. He will be sorely missed by his 8 grandchildren, Wanda Ricks, Larry Cupit and wife Christie, Christine Anderson, James Anderson, Katie and husband Shane Bush, Jennifer Little and husband Hunter, and Jeffery and Joseph Stotts; his 18 great-grandchildren, Valery Futch, Kerri Ricks, Jorden and Morgan Cupit, Carl, Joshua, Jared and Candace Howard, Sean, Ashley and Magen Anderson, Ethan and Devin Bush, Rachel, Rebecca and Jonathan Little, J. T. and Travis Stotts; and one great-great grandchild, Cody Howard.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Beatrice Miller Anderson; grandson, Kenneth Anderson Jr.; and sister, Juanita Arnold.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Anderson's family requests that memorial contributions in his memory be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

Mr. Anderson's family would like to express their thanks to Dr. C. Doyle Haynes and the nurses of Hospice in the Pines at Memorial Hospital...these people are God's angels on earth.

Graveside services for Mr. Anderson will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
