Charles R. "Bob" Runyon, 71, of Rural Route 1, Box 26, died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 1994, at St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

Born Feb. 19, 1923, in Peoria County to Harry Elias and Alma Lindzey Runyon, he married Leona Donaldson on Aug. 22, 1942, in St. Louis. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Sue Ann Runyon of Peoria; two brothers, Gene of Elmwood and Kenneth of Canton; and five sisters, Betty King of Elmwood, Mary Bantz of Plano, Phyllis Bock of Maquon, Agnes Synder of LaFayette and Ruth Aiello of Monterey, Calif.

He was a self-employed farmer in the Elba Township area all of his life.

He was a member of the American Milk Producers Association and Knox County Farm Bureau.

He was a member of Elmwood United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Elmwood.
