He was the son of the late Noah and Mildred (Stallsmith) Miller.
Mr. Miller served in the U. S. Merchant Marine. He worked 38 years in the constuction trade. His memberships include: the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66, VFW Post 15, and FOE, all in Gettysburg; AMVETS Post 172, Fairfield, and the Ira Lady American Legion Post 262, Biglerville.
He was the husband of Roxana (Mitchell) Miller for 22 years, and surviving, in addition to her, are two sons, Daniel Miller, from Brave, and Wayne Whipkey, from Fairview, WV; five daughters, Patricia Potts, Manheim, Kimberly Harrison, Lancaster, Mary Landman, Carmichaels, Carol Landman Greensboro, and Marlene Interrante, Nemacolin; nine grandchildren; two great-grandsons; two brothers, Robert Miller, Gettysburg, and Peter Miller, Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Miller.
