Christina W. Powers, 72, of Mount Pulaski died Sunday at St. John's Hospital. She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of Elmer and Pearl Woodcock Stevens. Preceding her in death were her parents; and two brothers, Kenneth and Earl Stevens. She married Robert Roscoe Powers in 1935. Mrs. Powers was a member of the Buffalo Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert Roscoe; two sisters, Corine Staley of Dawson and Pauline Merchant of Augusta, Ga.; one daughter, Luella Gray of Springfield; two granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fullenwider Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. Billy Joe Shanle officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
