Nathan R. Simmons, 69, from Hope Hull, Alabama, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 24, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth "Brady" Simmons; two daughters, Tonya Bachelor and Elizabeth Simmons, grandson, Jace Bachelor, and son-in-law, E.O. Bachelor. Also brothers, Jack Simmons and Tillman Simmons, sisters, Eloise Hall and Aline Dutton, special niece, Tawana Burnette, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Pintlala Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, with Rev. Don Webb and ministers, Jack Cates, Larry Brady and Clyde Ray officiating. Burial followed in the Brady Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Special thanks to Eddie Taylor.
