Katherine Helen Warren was born on July 7, 1916 in Hepburn, IA. The family moved to Brokenboro, NB, then to Wyoming. Her father owned a cattle ranch there and Katherine began riding horses at the age of three years old. In 1934, Katherine moved to California. In 1936 she married James Monroe Warren in Fellows, CA and they had one daughter, Janice Annette. They enjoyed traveling and going camping. Katherine loved to garden and would spend all day working in the yard with her husband. Sewing and embroidery were also among her favorite hobbies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lena Beavers; her husband, James; brothers, Loy C. Beavers, Wendell Beavers and Howard Beavers. Survivors include her daughter, Janice Peer and husband Andrew; granddaughters, Wendy Ann Murphy and husband Angus, Caroline Helen Peer, Lorna Katherine Banderian and husband Raffi and great granddaughter, Charlotte Rose Banderian, sister Lorna Frost and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is scheduled Sunday February 12th, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara Chapel.
