Mrs. Catherine W. Barger, 86, of 2212 E. Keys Ave., died at 2:26 p.m. Friday at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Aug. 27, 1904, in Sherman, the daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Ryan Wooddell. Preceding her in death were two brothers, George and John Wooddell; four sisters, Grace Moore, Irene Gaddie, Hazel and Marian Wooddell; and one great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Barger retired from Jack Robinson System in 1970 after 25 years of service.
Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Thoele of Springfield and Cora M. Krumbach of Tacoma, Wash.; one son, William H. Barger of Springfield; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack A. Cramer-Heuerman officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
