LULA KATHERINE LAYNE BECKETT, 63, of Culloden died Wednesday. Survivors include four daughters, Sesilia Riley of Culloden, Terry Cole of Ona, Jeanie Henson of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Evelyn Hyland of Goldsboro, N.C.; five sisters, Maxine Cummings of Marmet, Barbarine Frye of Redlands, Calif., Lucille Fetherson of Nitro, Evelyn Taylor of Charleston and Lois Jean Walker of Nitro; and two brothers, Edward Layne of Alum Creek and Harry Layne of Orwell, Ohio. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday at Milton United Methodist Church; entombment in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane. Heck Funeral Home, Milton, is in charge of arrangements.
