She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted son, George H. Brown of Williamsburg; her daughter-in-law, Irene Brown of Williamsburg; her special and devoted grandson, James H. Brown of Newport News; her five granddaughters, her 11 great-grandchildren, her several great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Bethel Restoration Center with the Elder John N. Gray Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 411 Harriet Tubman Drive, by noon on Tuesday. Viewing will be held at Whiting's Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. Professional services entrusted to Whiting's Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
