A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006, in St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Portland for Matilda "Tillie" Riehl, who died July 2 at age 93. Recitation of the rosary will precede the Mass at 10 a.m. Matilda Cooper was born April 3, 1913, in Tillamook, and moved to Portland as a child. She was a homemaker and was a lifetime member of the church. In 1935, she married Peter J.; he died in 1998. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Ausborn and Rosemary Muhlbach; brothers, Donald Cooper and Leonard Cooper; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
