CORINTH - Dewey K. Barnes, 72, retired building contractor, died of cancer Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Pentecostal Church, where he was on the usher board, with burial in Forrest Memorial Park. Coleman Funeral Home has charge. A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the National Rifle Association and a coin club.

Mr. Barnes, the husband of Eunice Barnes, also leaves two sisters, Anice Rencher and Mary Gray, both of Corinth. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the First Pentecostal Church building fund.
