"John Leasure, a patient at Fairmont hospital, No. 3, died yesterday evening. He was admitted on December 23, for treatment for injuries sustained in the mine at Downs. He was crushed in the chest and side.
Deceased lived with his family at Sunshine addition, Mannington, and was 63 years old. He is survived by his wife and several children.
The remains were prepared for burial at the Musgrave establishment and this morning Undertaker Lazear, of Mannington, will come here and remove him to his home. No funeral arrangements have been announced."
