Mrs. Mary Novachek 91 a former resident, passed away Saturday morning at Crest Nursing Home, Whitelaw.
Mrs. Novachek nee Mary Shuber was born Feb 24, 1880, in the Town of Franklin, daughter of the late John & Margaret Swoboda Shuber.
Mrs. Novachek was joined in union with Wencil Novachek on May 29, 1900 in Kellnersville.
They farmed in the town of Morrison.
Mrs. Novachek was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church Rosary Society.
Mrs. Novachek is preceded in death by her husband in December 1965 & both parents, one son; a daughter; three step brothers, & three step sisters.
Mrs. Novachek is survived by son William (1905-2003) of Rt#2, of Greenleaf; two daughters one Mrs. George (Mary) Shamburek of Reedsville, & Mrs. Harold (Clara) Schmidt of Mantiowoc; a step sister; fifteen grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 9:45 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home, & 10am St. Joseph Catholic Church Kellnersville. The Rev. Francis Kerscher will officiate & interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday until time of service. Rosary will be recited at 7:30p.m. by the Rosary Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Prayer service at 8 p.m.
