GEORGE BRAY PASSED AWAY

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday

George BRAY, 71, well known Jefferson county farmer, passed away at 6:40 p.m. yesterday in the Laughlin hospital in Kirksville, Mo. He had been in that hospital for the last three weeks.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hoskins funeral home. Burial will be in the Howard Grove cemetery.

Mr. BRAY was born on October 27, 1867 in Iowa. He had been in failing health during the last nine months.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. C.C. DANA of Fairfield; Mrs. H.E. INGHAM of Selma, Calif., and Mrs. Verl BEAUCHAMP of Richland; one son Walter BRAY of Richland; one brother, Albert BRAY of Richland; one sister, Mrs. James RICE of Richland. His wife (sic. Cora BROWN BRAY) preceded him in death on April 26, 1939.

Note: daughter Vera Edith Bray married Homer Edgar Ingham in 1918. She was born in 1893 and died on June 23, 1978 and is buried in California.
