MACKVILLE - Virginia Mae Gammon Devine, 84, of Main Street, Mackville, died Friday at Spring View Nursing Home in Lebanon. Born Sept. 25, 1919, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Frankie Owen and Clara Blanche Goodknight Gammon. She was a Baptist, a homemaker and a 1939 graduate of Mackville High School.
Survivors include her husband, Emmitt Devine, and a daughter, Peggy Devine of Mackville.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Carey & Son Funeral Home by Fred Whitacre. Burial will be in Peter Cemetery in Mackville. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
