Robert L. Smith, age 77 of Alpharetta died March 2, 2012.
He was a long time member of the Alpharetta First United Methodist Church and a member of the Alpharetta Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara "Bardy" Smith and daughter, Jennifer Claire Smith.
He is survived by his children, Karolyn and Jeffrey Gossett of Americus, Rusty and Mary Smith of Toccoa, Clifton and Danielle Smith of Charlottsville, VA; brother, Lindsay and Judy Smith of Irmo, SC and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 2:30pm at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
