"Linda L. Stone, 61, of Duncannon, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
She was born on September 16, 1950 in Harrisburg, PA, was a graduate of Warwick High School and the Polyclinic School of Nursing.
Linda retired from Kinkora Pythian Home as a registered nurse and in her retirement assisted Roger Williams with auctions.
She was a member of the Duncannon EMS, was a collector of wind chimes and enjoyed attending auctions.
Surviving are her husband William C. Stone, two sons William L. Stone and his wife Nicole of Fort Mitchell, Alabama, Robert L. Stone of Enola, her father Leon W. Spangler of Leola, two brothers Steven Spangler of Leola, David Spangler of Ephrata, two grandsons Nicholas R. Stone and Dylan S. Stone. She was preceded in death by her mother Sheva (Boyd) Spangler and a brother Leon A. Spangler.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 10am until 11am on Tuesday in the funeral home.
