Viola Jane Iiams Barton, 77, of Fayette City, died Sunday, June 9, 1992, in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Donora, the daughter of the late Harrison and Christina MacDougall Iiams. Mrs. Barton was a member of Broome Lodge 46 and the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church. She was proceeded in death by her husband Alexander B. Barton on Feb. 22, 1975. Friends will be received in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc., 334 Main St. Fayette City on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
