Mrs. Merry was born on Jan. 25, 1931, in rural Brownstown, the daughter of William Henry and Iva Sell Pinkley. She married Douglas Edgar Merry; he died in 2005.
She retired as an office manager for Chemtron Corp. She was a former member of Four Mile Christian Church.
She is survived by daughters, Sherry and her husband John Brereton, and Brenda and her husband Mark Maly, both of Chesterfield, Mo., and Melody Due of New Jersey; grandchildren, Joshua Miller of Glendale, Mo., Kristen Miller Reinsch of Dallas, Texas, Ryan Muff of Utah, Laura Dalpiaz of St. Peters, Mo., Alex Henn of Chesterfield, and Jacob Goldstein and Zachery Goldstein, both of New Jersey; great-grandson, Jackson Grant Miller of Glendale, Mo.; and great-granddaughter, Emma Dalpiaz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Constance Gibson; and brother-in-law, William J. Gibson.
