Adeline was the daughter of Hiram Tracy Jones and Christina Echols. Adeline graduated from Hollins College in Virginia. She married Hugh Estil Bailey 3 August 1880 and traveled with him throughout his ministry. After his death she was listed as a farm operative. Hugh and Adeline had nine Children.
