Aaron James Samples, age 64, of Acworth, passed away November 23, 2010, at his home in Acworth, Cherokee County, Ga., USA.
Mr. Samples was born June 25, 1946, to the late Aaron F. and Mary S. Samples and served his Country in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by sisters, June Turner & Marie Samples, and brother Robert Samples.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice C. Samples: sons Anthony & Lori Prater, Timothy & Stacy Prater, and Scott & Christa Prater, grandchildren, Jennifer, Ashley, Kayla, Stephan, Charla, Cecil, AJ, Alec, Clay,& Jeremie, great grandchidren, Aubrey Butterworth, Breanna Prater. Sister: Mary E. Samples (Biddy), brother: Alibin Samples. Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Internment will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Woodstock Funeral Home on Friday, November 26th from 2:00-4:00PM & 6:00-8:00PM.
