Arthur Burrough Dies at 76 in Hospital

Arthur Burrough died Wednesday morning at the King's Daughters Hospital following several weeks illness. He was 76.

Funeral services were Friday morning from Ogden Baptist church with the Rev. R. B. McNeer officiating. Burial in the church cemetery was under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home. His six grandsons were pallbearers.

Survivors are nine daughters, Mrs. Griffin Edmonds, Benton, Mrs. Tom Arnold, Waynesboro, Mrs. Alma Hambright, Satartia, Mrs. Margie Coombs, Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Eddie Heathcock, Brookhaven, Mrs. Cornelia Ray Brooks, Hollandale, Mrs. Georgia Ann Brown, Brookhaven, Mrs. Lottie May Harvey and Betty Ruth Burrough, Byram, La.; three sons, William Burrough, Yazoo City, Arthur Burrough Jr. and Frank Burrough both of Byram, La., two sisters, Mrs. Mary Warnock, Satartia and Mrs. Major Guion, Benton and a brother, Walter Burrough of Bentonia.
