Wellington, Dec. 9 (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. W. H. Riley, 86, of the Dozier community, 20 miles north of here, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be in the Dozier Church of Christ with Alfa Johnson, Church of Christ minister of Turkey, and Joe Dukes, Church of Christ minister from Allison, officiating. Burial will be in Dozier Cemetery under direction of the Kelso Funeral Home of Wellington.
Mrs. Riley died at 5:20 p.m. Monday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank Massey of Dozier. She was born February 15, 1872.
Mrs. Riley and her family came to Collingsworth County from Weta, Oklahoma. They operated stores in the Plymouth and Dozier communities until a few years ago.
Mrs. Riley is survived by one daughter Mrs. Massey of Dozier; one son, Granville of Hale Center; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
NOTE: Susan's brother, Randolph Marion Britton, is located at memorial 60538317. Susan and her siblings were separated when their parents died. She and Randolph were reunited after 35 years of not seeing each other. (told to me by Randolph's daughter, Nancy Oleta Britton Reynolds)
