Captain James "Jim" W. Broyles II, a 35 year veteran of the Dallas Fire Department and two time candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas District 11 passed away on April 8, 2004. He founded the Fallen Firemen's Family Fund after 9-11.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, daughter Janelle, daughter Holly Doffing, granddaughter Haley, and three sisters.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a great friend. Jim served in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1973.
