Evelyn M. Foard, 84, passed away Sept. 26, 2000. Survived by her sister, Ruth (Don) Le- Blond of Seattle, Wash.; brother, Robert W. (Bonnie) Foard of Reno, Nev.; and a sister, Marion (Don) Beltz of Godfrey, Ill.; her special friend, Martha Jane Cunning of Pueblo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn retired from School District 60, where she was a teacher for many years. In 1967 she was the Colorado State Teacher of the Year in Biology. She was a member of the AAUW, the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center in Pueblo and the Pueblo Zoo. At her request, cremation. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Saturday First United Methodist Church, 11th and Court streets.

According to a member of the family; a family friend, Moppie (Martha Jane Cunning) she told the family that they scattered the ashes in a zoo. However it is not known if it was the Pueblo Zoo, Colorado Springs zoo, or Denver Zoo.
