Marion B. Anderson, 83, died Saturday in Dalhart. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, at the Lakeview United Methodist Church. Rev. Tom Woodward, pastor of the Lakeview United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Hass-Ferguson Funeral Directors. Marion and Howard Anderson were married on November 24, 1932 in Accord, N.Y. They moved to Dalhart in 1981 from Accord, N.Y. She was a past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star of Wawarsing Chapter of Ellenville, N.Y., in 1942. She attended Kingston High School and the Lakeview United Methodist Church after moving to Dalhart. Survivors are her husband, Howard, of Dalhart; one daughter, Doris Barrows of Lockport, N.Y.; Roger Anderson of Caldwell, Idaho; one brother, Robert East of Kingston, N.Y.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials to the Lakeview United Methodist Church.
