BAKER, BERTIE LEE STANLEY died 20 Apr 1990

Bertie Lee Stanley Baker, 70, of Homosassa Springs, Fla., and formerly of Oneida, passed away early Friday morning, April 20, 1990, at the Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River, Fla., following a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Silas L. Stanley and the late Etta Lee Reed Stanley and was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. She was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Homosassa, Fla. for several years where she was very active. Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband, Lawrence (Larry) Baker of Homosassa Springs, Fla.; four brothers: Walter Stanley and wife, Ida, Eldridge Stanley, and Duard Stanley and wife, Gussie, all of Oneida, and Hurstle Stanley and wife, Mildred of Partlow, Va.; one brother-in-law, Hubert Lentz of Crane, Missouri; a special nephew, Bobby Stanley of Ocala, Fla.; several other nephews and one niece; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, April 23, with Rev. A. V. Stanley officiating. Paul and Beverly Chitwood sang. Burial was in the Thomas Cemetery in Oneida. Serving as pallbearers were: Russell Ellis, Harold Ellis, L. B. Norris, Thomas Leland Reed, Marvin Reed, and Estle Reed.
