There is no list in detail of the Continental troops who participated in the Battle of Ridgefield. The author has collated from family histories and from various books and papers a few of those who were killed or wounded at Ridgefield. Beside General Wooster, there were the following: -
Colonel Abraham Gould of Fairfield, killed on his horse; Dr. David Atwater of New Haven, killed.

In Memory of Mr. David Atwater a noted Apothecary, a valuable member of Society, just and upright in his Dealings, generously beneficent to the Public, a kind & amiable husband, a faithful Friend, & a firm Advocate for his Country; in defence of which he fell a Volunteer in the Battle at Cumpo-Hill, April 28th AD 1777 AE 41.
