Excerpt -- The remains of Mrs. Delia Bunker, who died in Chicago, April 28th, arrived in Kingwood last Friday morning, May 17th, accompanied by Judge John Barton Payne and wife. The handsome new funeral car of H. C. Flythe, the Kingwood undertaker, was at the depot and conveyed the remains directly to the Kingwood Cemetery, where a short service was held, conducted by Rev. Howard, of the M. E. church. The burial was private, only a few of the immediate friends of the deceased being present. The remains were laid to rest beside of her husband, Hon. Edward C. Bunker, who died in 1867.
