Funeral services will be held Friday 1:00 PM, April 15, 2005 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Randy Smith, the Rev. Roy Smith, and the Rev. Clayton Royal officiating. Burial will be in the David Green Family Cemetery in Deep Gap.
Rev. Carlton was born December 18, 1943 in Watauga County to Gaither Wiley McKinnley and Lucy Robbins Carlton. He was a former manager of a Lowes Foods and Run Inn Food Stores. He was the pastor of Little Faith Tabernacle.
He is survived by: his wife, Debra Royal Carlton; two sons; five sisters; one brother; and two grandchildren.
