Died at the age of 30. Son of Aaron Avery and Anne Kinne. Husband of Laura Pierson. They were married in 1830 at Tallmadge, Ohio and had a daughter, Juliett Elizia, born in Tallmadge on Feb. 9, 1831.
After Ellsworth's death, his widow, Laura, who was born on May 14, 1805 in Alford, Mass., Berkshire County, married Isaac Soverhill. They had a son, Charles Westley, born Sept. 7, 1840 in Newark, N.Y. Isaac died the next year on August 25, 1841 in Arcadia, N.Y. Laura married a third time to Jesse M. Cary in 1843 at Arcadia, N.Y. They had no children. Laura died January 15, 1845 at the age of 39 leaving her two children probably with Jesse. He died on Sept. 7, 1863.
I don't know where Laura was buried. Probably in New York.
