BAILEY, KATHLEEN F. MINTON - age 86 of Maynardville went to her Heavenly home March 9, 2012 at Willow Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center. Kathleen was a member of Pennington Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a wonderful, caring and genuine soul who never met a stranger. Preceded in death by: daughter, Brenda Kay Bailey; parents, Fayette and Cornia Young Minton; sisters, Jean White, Betty Pressley; brother, Kenneth Minton. Survivors: companion, Elmer Bailey; special niece, Debbie and husband Brian Sharp; step son and wife, J.M. and Nancy Bailey; step grandsons, Allen and wife Marty Bailey, Jason and wife April Bailey; special Nana to Nicholas and Bryson Sharp; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Willow Ridge, and Caris for their tender care and to the residents for their friendship that they shared. Family will receive friends Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in Cooke Chapel. Reverend Richard Nicely and Reverend Wayne Lovelace officiating. Interment 1:00 p.m. Monday at Boruff Cemetery. Family will be at the home of Brian and Debbie Sharp www.cookemortuary.com
