Mrs. Emma Hager, mother of Mrs. John Holmes, died Sunday morning at her home in Long Beach, CA, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Holmes has been at Long Beach since March 1st, helping to care for her mother. Mrs. Hager, who formerly resided at LaPorte, went to California more than ten years ago accompanied by her daughter Myrta. She was 75 years old in January. The funeral services were held at Long Beach, where she was buried, Tuesday afternoon.
